An outstanding example of orthoclase with a quartz crystal attached: a combination that rarely survives the mining, or formation processes. The discovery of Orthoclase from this locality caused much excitement, and understandably so, as the quality stands to redefine the species.I paid dearly for this specimen: as a great lover of the feldspar group, I simply had to have it! Never before had I come across a crystal with this form and perfection with a quartz attached! Unfortunately, Dennis shared my enthusiasm and made me pay his price....I am still satisfied, as this piece is outrageous!
