SOLD....A truly superb specimen of sulphur from a classic locality. Most agree that this specimen is one of the most significant pieces in the Pellman Collection. The main crystals have a lovely translucency and a bright lemon color, with sharp faces. Toward the lower left, a second crystal has aragonite inclusions, clearly visible: again, translucent and lustrous. I waited for many years to acquire this specimen, and even in the days of my world class collection, David Wilber and I were never able to locate one worthy of our collection. An absolute jewel, and certain to be the central focus of an important collection.
